Digitizing is the next step in the process. It's a procedure that translates your image into a language the machine can read. This allows it to know where to start and stop the stitching, where to place the color(s), and how thick the thread will be. Artwork should be submitted at the best quality/resolution you can provide. Please also consider the exact size and position you would like your design to be placed on the item.
